This Friday will see The Govan Raid:

Approximately 100 local children and adults will be taking part in the raid - they will plant four flags  on the Govan side of the river and then make their way over the river via the new ferry - in this they will be accompanied by the GalGael Trust who will be rowing one of the boats built in their workshop and by the Strthclyde Fire Brigade in their river boat. If you are in Glasgow on Friday you'd be most welcome to join us - be at Govan Cross (opposite the Subway Station) at 11.40am on Friday 29th July
